Great drawer kitchen by Gitta Gschwendtner for Schiffini
Gitta Gschwendtner has created this unique and completely modern kitchen for Schiffini as an ode to architecture – and is a fine example of thinking in kitchen design.
Composed with an avant-garde and constructivist aesthetic, the Drawer Kitchen is a large island full of drawers, creating a relief pattern reminiscent of the Cubist era.
The random stacking aesthetics of the drawers create an interplay of shadows that, in conjunction with the cavities to be pulled by the finger pull, make The Drawer Kitchen appear to be in constant motion.
The drawer kitchen is “a connection between the theatricality of the meal preparation and the sociality of the meal”.
Available in white laminate and birch wood with a steel plate and flush mounted burners and sinks, this sculptural volume is both visually exciting and incredibly functional.
