The most important elements in the induction cooker are the magnetic coils. They are supplied with power and this causes high-frequency voltages. Their frequencies change, as does the magnetic field that causes them. As a result of this interaction creates an electromagnetic voltage. As soon as the induction cooker is on, the so-called induction current is generated and from this the cookware is warmed up.
The special thing about this process is that the hotplate stays cool. Only the cookware itself is heated up. As soon as you remove the pan or pot from the stove, the heating stops. However, this only works if you use pieces of tableware made of the appropriate ferromagnetic materials.

Disadvantages of induction hot plates
The most important problem is the first investment. This not only includes the induction cook top but also all the new cookware you need to purchase. The already available cooking appliances are only useful if they are made of iron or stainless steel.
In addition to the material, there are other requirements – the floor should be absolutely straight and quite thick, so that the food warm up evenly. In all other cases, the food can burn. Because of these peculiarities, as you understand, many of the current devices are not usable.
Other important indications for the use of induction cookers
Never leave empty cookware on the hotplate. You should have at least a small amount of water. Otherwise, they can break very fast.
