Or would you like to try this year and see if we are right or not? The following instructions will help you to make decorative Christmas sleds. Decorative DIY sled as Christmas decorations on fir-tree
The necessary materials for decorative Christmas sleighs
– 2 medium and 5 small handicraft sticks;
– wood glue; Wood coating;
– color (in our models we use black and red, or black and white);
– yarn, string;
– transparent and thin adhesive tape;
On request, you can also take some accessories.
Suitable are fir tree branches, bells, garlands, and other jewelry items that are typical for Christmas.
This is how glued-on craft sticks have to look for this project
That’s how you make the Christmas sleighs
First, you need to stick together four of the smaller craft sticks, as shown in the picture above. Just as you can see there, these should be moved a little deeper. A tip: Spread some wood glue on paper and apply a little bit of it with the help of a toothpick to the edges of the tinker. This is easier for most people, but of course, you can also develop your own technique.
Once you have applied the wood glue, let it dry well. With a small cloth or brush, you can now apply the first selected color on the craft sticks. Swipe the fifth smaller craft swatch in the same color. In our Volbilder, they are colored in red and white. Let it dry well.
Paint the longer tassels in a different (or the same) color. In this role model, they are in black. All painted craft sticks can then be painted with wood.
You can also choose a different color here. Let these craft sticks dry well.

Bring together the different parts of the DIY craft tags
Now we can glue the larger craft sticks to the smaller ones. You can see exactly how close these are to each other in the picture above. Now stick on the fifth smaller craft tag (also as in the picture).
Finally, you can now attach the remaining accessories with the help of the adhesive tape. If you make the DIY Christmas decorations together with children, you can let the little ones do this part.
